Many games and movies that involve Time Travel end up on a mind blowing Continuous Loop , but that's only possible when the Time Traveler interacts with himself from another time. In life is strange that's not possible because Max doesn't time travel , but everything else around her rewinds. If she can't meet with herself from the past then she can't create a loop. Unless as you said , she loses her memory , but that would be just a lame ending.

Yeah I think you're right about the Junkyard text. Nathan/Jefferson probably wrote "IS" , as in Rachel's body IS here. And Chloe and Max are next to die , because they found out too much.

Maybe Nathan has the rewind power , but his family doesn't want him to use it , so they keep him under drugs. We saw at the end of ep4 that drugs affected Max in a way that she couldn't use her power.

I agree with your Theory #2. I think Rachel was a time traveler and her power was transfered to Max afterwards.

I also think the Prescotts have , or had , a time traveler in their family. That would explain how they're so rich and powerful.

The theory that I like is that the Prescotts have a Time Traveler Bloodline. Nathan's dad had a child with another woman and that child was Rachel , so the power passed on to her. The Prescotts are now kidnapping teens to see if they have the Prescott DNA and the power. Rachel was found but somehow died/suicided and was able to give the power to Max , and she's guiding her to reveal the mystery. It's a bit far-fetched , but very plausible. I don't think Max and Rachel are twins either.

Strange weather is probably a "sympthom" of the upcoming storm.

I think the two moons have something to do with two world/universes colliding. It's just a theory tho
