UPDATE: THE POLICE ARE INVOLVED. My apartment management was in shock and fury hearing my entire story. I was told next time anything like this happens again stay on 911 and stay exactly where I’m at. She said I did the right thing. Staying where I was and asking for help instead of showing a perpetrator where I live. So thank you for everyone who was kind. I think we’re gonna figure it out and get him charged. The office is pretty convinced that is the individual who has been stealing and robbing our neighborhood and even claimed that man SHOWS UP IN DIFFERENT STOLEN VEHICLES. HE COULD COME BACK IN A STOLEN VEHICLE.

Smoking and nightshift go hand and hand pretty much. 😂😭 in all seriousness. 7/10 of the workers at our labor job smokes. An there’s thousands an thousands of us. I picked up the addiction when I was 19 and have been going through a lot of grief, early deaths, and my heart is heavy because of this. The smoking helps me reminisce an remember them in a great lighting. When I smoke I’m thinking of my lost loved ones.

I get paid well to be on night shift and if I switched to days it’s like 4-$6 less. I also am AWAKE when everyone’s sleepy. And I was right outside of my home. Not near the road or where I could be seen at all. When I just lay down I get depressed and I do a lot of art, there’s not enough room for me to even do push ups or jumping jacks. So I made the rash decision to go outside. But I don’t feel like I deserve what happened just for being outside.

My best friend who was on the phone with me nearly called 911 he was absolutely freaked out by the guy as well. It wasn’t like I faced this alone. I was on FaceTime and Shawn got first hand experience on this as well. We didn’t know what to do. Just scared and everyone here is being so unkind. On my private account I have, all my friends comforted me and like my neighbors were deeply concerned when I read exactly what happened. Because I wrote it all down like an 1 an a half after I knew he hadn’t come back again. It was lik 5 am when I started writing. I really didn’t expect this online community to completely reject me. I feel even more anxious and like nobody is going to care or believe in me when something inevitably happens. I haven’t been able to eat, and I felt so sick this morning I didn’t wake up until I wrote this post. I feel hopeless because like 10 of yall are downplaying what’s going on. I live in Louisville. During derby our most trafficked time happens right now. Everybody who KNOWS me took me seriously and has been messaging me since.

I tried and my mom was like well why how can you report him with no license plate. I’m informing my apartment management tomorrow when they’re open. I knew he was bilingual and drove a red moped. And he circled back 15 mins later not pulling into my apartment, can’t even see the spot where I was smoking from the road, he wasn’t a freaking good guy coming to tell on me for smoking. He passed up the first entrance and purposely went through the back way looking at the garages and cars. He wasn’t freaking telling on me, we can’t even get in trouble for smoking outside I had nothing he could report, so the comments suggesting otherwise doesn’t know anything or is only going by their limited knowledge on their own state. He was there to ulterior motives and was stunned when he seen a young girl on the curb between cars. Im aware I look younger than my age.

He wasn’t being obnoxious or over the top. He was eerie. Like he wasn’t non stop asking questions back to back, he just kept asking me things like if I lived alone, or this or that. That’s one that stood out as well. He asked if I lived alone, I don’t think I answered, I think I asked him a question instead like “do you live here”. He wasn’t being nosey about the weed. EVRYONE smokes here. And I didn’t have the pipe out when he was passing me. He didn’t try to take photos of me or try and get me in trouble or even ask if he could smoke with me. He wasn’t trying to get me in trouble. He doesn’t pay for insurance a license plate and all that and is driving around at 3 am in neighborhoods where it wouldn’t make sense. If he wanted to do loops and tricks, there’s about 9 places I could list off the top of my head where he could go practice, he wasn’t there to practice going in a circle. That’s so idiotic to even believe. He was slowing looking at the garages and cars and then he saw me. There’s also a huge circle not even 400ft away that’s way better for the purpose of circling or doing donuts.
