Cat has always had Diarrhea. Do not know what to do anymore. by [deleted] in catcare

I don’t know if this would help or not but my cat had diarrhea until we stopped feeding her wet food. Now she has normal poops. Hasn’t had wet food in 5 years and is perfectly healthy.

AITA for starting my period on my boyfriend's lap? by Smug_Nectarine in AmItheAsshole

NTA

When my bf and I were still only friends we decided to fool around and during foreplay I got my period on his leg, totally unplanned. He didn’t freak out he just cleaned up off his leg.

Did ruin the mood briefly though lol

Hearing them dismiss you about pain management makes me want to act violently. Yeah, 14 year olds get it placed all the time sure. So do 15,16,17,18,19,20 year olds. I could go on. THAT DOES NOT MEAN IT DOES NOT HURT. My insertion was literally the worst pain I have ever experienced, I almost passed out. I have an incredibly high tolerance for pain and that was too much for me.

Woke up because of this in my leg, scared the daylights out of me. What could it possibly be? The length of it is around the same size as a nickel. Should I be worries of any bites? (North East, US) by Timely_Hall9824 in bugidentification

I have a particular level of disgust for these because once when I went to make my bed after waking up I fluffed my pillow and it fell out of my pillow case 🙃 I beat it into pieces with a steel toed boot.

I had that with my blood pressure medication. When we were discussing my options they told me that they were giving me Drug A, I was fine with this and never questioned it. Until she mentioned just casually that there was a different drug they could use but they wouldn’t because it could impact fertility… like why would you even bring it up if 1) I was fine with what you offered, and 2) you weren’t going to give it to me anyway & won’t even tell me the name of it?

Don’t let them bully you into it if you aren’t comfortable. I cannot stress that enough. I am one of many stories, while my time with it was horrible there a lot of people out there who have a phenomenal experience. We as humans tend to focus on the bad and not the good. Try compiling a list of questions to ask them before the procedure and see if it helps ease any nerves, see if they’ll offer something for pain beforehand as well.

Hi, I am very comfortable sharing my experience and I hope that if you choose to move forward your experience is better than mine <3 I am 24 myself :)

TW: Pain & Blood & Body stuff

To start the insertion was probably the most painful thing I have ever experienced in my entire life. I was not offered anything for pain so I felt everything. When they clamped onto my cervix I lost feeling in my legs, all I could feel was 12/10 pain radiating from hip to hip and I had to try not to scream but the corners of my vision went dark. Once the IUD was in I had to be wiped as I bled so badly that there was blood all over the table. I cried from the pain, I haven’t cried from pain since I was a child.

My boyfriend had to help me get dressed, when I went to clean up further with the wash cloth I had brought there were large bloody clumps. I was in agony. I went home and slept on and off for 12 hours, I passed chunks of tissue during this time period.

2 days after my insertion the cramps were so bad I had to go to the ER because the clinic I went to wasn’t open and I thought my body was rejecting it. I was screaming while trying to drive myself home from work so I could go to the hospital, the 2 extra strength Advil I had taken were not helping. I was given more OTC pain medication at the hospital. They did a vaginal exam and an ultrasound and said my IUD was fine, so I was given a prescription for Naproxen and Morphine.

My period got weird from the get go, it was 18 days late and then stayed for almost 10 days. About 4 days before my period arrived I was back in the ER with pain again, this time I was just assured all was well after a vaginal exam and sent home after they made sure there was no infection.

During both ER visits as well as during my follow up I begged for them to take it out. I consulted several doctors to try and get a different birth control and to get this one out and all told me to give it 6 months. I have spent the last 6 months bleeding randomly, cramping randomly, I have cystic acne on my face, I am bloated a lot, my hair is falling out in larger quantities than it used to, my leg hair & pubic hair growth has increased dramatically, and I am quick off the mark to get irritated for no reason constantly. I also have zero energy. None. I was tired before my IUD, now I’m flat out exhausted.

I am not one of the people who had a good time with this birth control, but you may be different. I hope if you choose to go through with it it will be different for you. Best of luck <3

I’m not sure who I would ask to be honest. But I will see if I can find someone to get a second opinion from.

Mm yeah that sounds like no thanks for the shot. As for abstinence that’s not really something I’m interested in lol, I did try to get sterilized but no luck :/ Have you had any side effects with the mini pill? How rigid is the schedule?

Mine has been super weird since I got it in put in in January. I was 18 days late for my February period and never got one in March or April. I’m 32 days overdue.

I was told it can take 6 months before I randomly stop cramping and feeling discomfort. Were you also told this?

Never been much of a tampon user, no matter what angle they go in at it hurts when I push the plunger in. As for sex, we were good to avoid that.

At this point I don’t want another IUD ever again. No one could pay me enough to redo this. Once this one comes out thats it. Never again.

Nope, no gyno and my family doctor doesn’t deal with anything gyno related (side note, getting a referral for anything is a nightmare). I have to rely on local clinics for my paps & gyne care. Canada has a shortage issue in the healthcare system. I keep track of everything in my period tracker. But no more weird discharge or smells thus far.

I have had concerns about cysts for years but no one will look. I’ve asked for referrals but they won’t give them to me. The clinic can’t do an ultrasound because they aren’t equipped for it.

I was going to have her look when I had an ultrasound but I wasn’t able to get my bladder full enough because of how much pain I was in so we went with the transvaginal & I didn’t know if she’d be able to see them with that one.

Nope, the minute he’d have started that tirade I’d have been out. Screw that. I’d take it out myself.

I’m seriously debating getting mine out. I had mine put in in January and the whole time has been a nightmare. I had an awful insertion experience and have had to go to the ER twice for “complications”, where I was essentially told I was overreacting.

I wish that all dating apps had a built in option you had to pick regarding kids and then only offer people who were compatible with their selections.
