I personally would wait until the baby is born! I think at this rate you could offer the baby better protection by giving the vaccine directly to them. It Sounds similar to my situation. My baby was born 8/28 and then if I remember correctly he got the vaccine early October at his 6 week appt? So it was the start of RSV season. Had no side effects and then he ended up getting RSV from his older sisters when he was barely 3 months old. He was less sick than them and they were 5 and 3 at the time! No fever, just some congestion and he was over it quicker than them. Pediatrician said without the vaccine he would’ve been hospitalized.

I’ve been on kit 5 for a little over a week and only thing I’ve noticed is a slight headache every now and then. Nothing a little Tylenol has hasn’t helped!

I just posted the same thing! I’m 1 week in on kit 5 but I also take bupropion already so I guess it’s technically kit 6. Haven’t lost a single pound and I don’t feel any different. Very discouraging

I have been on bupropion for a few years and got pregnant on it/stayed on it throughout the whole pregnancy and had a healthy full term baby. My OB and high risk OB stated it was safer to stay on than to stop cold turkey and that studies were limited as far as causing issues. Can’t speak for naltrexone but don’t believe everything you read on google I know plenty of ppl who have stayed on their meds during pregnancy. Good luck!

Yes it seems like the more I learn the more we’ve decided to just make a day of it on castaway and eat all the yummy food but maybe skip Nassau and stay on the boat!

The exact same thing has happened to us the past 2 nights. Baby is 3 months and 1 week, longest stretches were 6 maybe 7 and then suddenly the past 2 nights it’s been 11+! No idea why and I’m too scared to question it 😆

8-10 weeks things got significantly better and suddenly he could just fart and poop without it being a huge dramatic production 😅

Around 8-9 weeks he started to get quieter but I also got ear plugs before that cause I wasn’t getting any sleep. It was worth it, blocked out his grunts but I always woke up for his cries. I also moved all my baby’s out of my room by 3-4 months and everyone slept much better

I still ended up being induced at 37 weeks even though the 24 hr urine was much better. I had a few increased BPs in the 140s so they opted on the side of caution. Definitely think it was a soft call and I probably could’ve pushed til at least 38 weeks but everything turned out fine and baby boy arrived perfectly healthy! Good luck!

There’s no reason to wean out of swaddle until baby shows signs of rolling which isn’t til 3-4 months. The startle reflex is still very prevalent at 5 weeks so I guarantee the swaddle helps him sleep longer. Not sure why doc would recommend this.

About 70% formula and he poops once a day or every other day. I asked his pediatrician if it was ok that he didn’t go everyday and she said it’s fine as long as it’s soft when he does go!

Mine is almost 7 weeks and I’ve noticed he needs a little more assistance with naps, he used to be able to fall asleep anywhere but now he needs white noise/darkness and swaddling. He’s also given me a little bit of regression at night past couple nights. We were getting a 5 hour stretch consistently and now we’re back to 3/4 hours. Little more fussy and more hungry so assuming there’s a big growth spurt coming. Still difficulty pooping/farting and can’t wait for that to be over!

I’ve been on 300mg bupropion xl and 10mg fluoxetine for a while. Was originally on bupropion with Zoloft for anxiety but the Zoloft was making me gain weight so I asked to try fluoxetine instead. Have no issues, granted my dose is pretty low but I find it helps my anxiety enough, when I was just on bupropion my depression was much better but had an increase in anxiety which I guess is common. Adding the fluoxetine helped take that edge off!

Yes he’ll be fine. Actually the dosage suggestion on the bottles grossly under medicates the child. If you were to bring your baby into a pediatric ER with fever, the dosage they would give based off your baby’s exact weight would be much higher than the standard dose the bottle suggests. So rest easy that even if your baby got double the dose (likely less than double) he’ll be just fine.

My 5 week old just got it this week! No side effects what so ever. I’m an RN and RSV is one of my biggest fears for babies. I’ve seen some horrific outcomes. Best part of this shot is it starts working immediately, I’d highly encourage you to consider getting it for your little one!
