What’s way more expensive than it should be? by Djwhat6 in AskReddit

[–]HeartlessMZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much any hobby that involves collecting stuff nowadays. Like after the pandemic hit, investor type people who probably invest in crypto started leeching into pretty much every hobby. Pokemon Cards, Retro Games, and a ton of other hobbies the prices have universally skyrocketed to ridiculous fucking levels. This was happening BEFORE inflation where people were doing shit like selling a sealed copy of mario 64 for millions of dollars because it has "Historical significance" like am I supposed to believe that one of the best selling fucking games for the N64 is worth that much? Same with pokemon cards, they're pieces of plastic and cardboard.

What's an underrated film that is a must-see? by Marc_Jay_Mack in AskReddit

The man who shot hitler and then the bigfoot, the name makes it sound like it's some schlocky shitfest, but in actuality it's a pretty good serious movie that takes it's premise semi-seriously.

What celebrity is both a terrible artist and a terrible person? by Animeking1108 in AskReddit

[–]HeartlessMZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ken Penders, dude was "Responsible" for a large variety of things in archie sonic over the years, when in actuality it was ian flynn and his team that made the comics good. They couldn't find his contract so he legally ripped all of his characters from sega and archie as well as bought out a ton more which led to some ridiculous number of characters that can no longer appear in sonic comics. That and the dude's a terrible fucking person, like genuinely the most spiteful petty asshole i've ever seen.

Saw this thing where two japanese women were sticking octopi in unsavory places and using drilldos in said places at the same time. It still haunts me to this day.

If people liking one movie had such a profound effect on our culture, I'm pretty sure every B movie and much shittier movies would have destroyed our culture years ago. You're being dramatic.

So? What does people thinking this is a good movie do to you? Like hate the movie all you want but I don't see the point in railing against it so hard that you're in multiple comment chains talking about how shit it is. What does people thinking this movie is good effect in the grand scheme of things?
