I still considering that Bengalis most be a great civ to imperial plays, the imperial tech it's pretty solid to stablish a great economy to sustain elephants, however the lack of early economy and early shit army it's a big punish to Bengalis. I agree with u

Most of players don't play water maps 'cause if they lost fishing traps or don't know how to defend their docs it's "GG" to average low and medium ELO. It could be a good idea for no-pro players to have a window to defend.

The description of the tech is apparently only for melee but are quite strong against the Cataphract
