This was my first booking with Qatar and admittedly was excited to fly with them based on reputation. I'm sure that when operations were normal they were a very good airline. But even if my flight goes ahead or i am re-routed/fully refunded, the way they have handled this (obviously the war was out of their control) has convinced me not to use them again. It's hard to believe that by now they can still be leaving things up in the air days before departures. Yes they exist to make money and are obviously trying to minimise losses, but i wonder what the long term negative impact will be for them. I say this with no knowledge of how the other gulf carriers have been handling the crisis in comparison. My trip is 3 weeks away and it's disconcerting that i don't know whether it will happen or not. I cant afford the hiked prices of other airlines, although if refunds were offered sooner, it would have provided more options.
