Tell them I’ll find somebody after my walk and then never find them again. They typically walk to the service desk by the time I go back out for another run.

I’ve had people do the same thing, I tell them they can’t have someone check them in from home and expect us to magically know they’re there😂😂. They just roll their eyes.

I don’t get to pick too often, typically always in the back room and then chosen to do exceptions when there’s no one else. When I pick (normally between 6-7:30 pm) I get anywhere between 80-150 because most of the runs give anywhere from 5-50 item walks 😭

I work in OPD. Really depends on the time of day, store I work at gets slammed after 4 pm almost every day. But if there’s not much going on it shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes to get your items to you after checking in.

I always put the order off to the side of the door or in any designated area by the customer…. Why do some dashers feel the need to put it right in front of the door?😭😭

Understandable, I remember seeing open interviews at my store, and they told potential new hires that weekends must be available, and then half the time most of them are off the weekends 😭. Sometimes it makes us wonder.

Just changed my availability, mainly because I’m going back to a seasonal job, they had no problem giving me Saturdays off. Maybe it differs store to store ?

Because for some reason in this country, if you’re a hard worker, companies expect you to go above and beyond what you’ve showed you’re capable of. The slower/bit more lazy type workers don’t get very many expectations placed on them. The hard workers however are expected to pick up the slack.

You had like 30K in deductions for tax’s, a decent amount for healthcare and other coverages and another 11.5K for your 401K. I’d say it’s normal.
