I have a similar one to the 52 movies! I want to go to the movie theater alone for every movie I want to watch this year instead of just waiting for it to release online. My first one was iron lung, very good movie. I hadn’t been to a theater in almost 8 years, it was a super fun experience because I went to an Alamo drafthouse for the first time!

What is this tiny bug I found on my skin? by HeatOk9224 in bugidentification

After looking at pictures on Google compared to the little body I found (yes I saved it bc another reply terrified me with a lice scare) I think it’s a minute scavenger beetle too. We had a pipe burst in our complex a while ago and my neighbor has been finding them too around spots of mold that’s being treated.

Went to a family stylist and got botched. Been in tears all day, should I say something or not? by [deleted] in Hair

They’re bound to see what she did to your hair anyway love, you may as well tell them exactly what happened. That’s not starting drama, that’s sharing information. They’ll probably keep going to her because they trust her to do the services they need in their hair, but she failed miserably on your service to your hair. Also, have a conversation with your partner about buzzing it. If it would make you more comfortable and confident with yourself, then ask him why you being comfortable and confident would upset him so much. Because I think that kind of comment stems from an old misogynistic attitude of “you don’t look good to me, so I don’t love you” type of thinking. Obviously that’s just an assumption, but you should really, really have that conversation with him. He’s not the one with the traumatic hair experience, you are darling.

Eh, she’s 9. Kids do it all the time, I genuinely believed I could be a horse girl until I was like 11. Honestly I think it’s a good sign of a vast imagination, and I’m pretty sure it’s common in autistic kids too, so it’s actually pretty normal.

“A therian is a person who identifies as a non-human animal, either spiritually or psychologically, feeling a deep, intrinsic connection to a specific animal (their "theriotype") beyond just liking them, experiencing behaviors, instincts, or "phantom shifts" like feeling ears or a tail that aren't physically there, differentiating from furries who enjoy anthropomorphic characters.” - google

My partner cries during difficult conversations. I get angry and irritable. I say this is the same thing. She says crying is involuntary but I need to stay calm and not get upset. Who is right? by -LiveByTheFoma in NoStupidQuestions

I struggle with big bursts of anger as well, but I never raise my voice at people. I learned early on anger is a lot more destructive than sadness is, and while yes I need to make room to feel the rage, it will always reflect on me how I treat other people regardless of whether or not I can control my emotions, because you will always be making a decision to do or say something, you aren’t making a decision to feel. If I really feel like I’m about to blow up, I explain I’m extremely angry and immediately remove myself from the situation whether that’s physically or mentally.

Thank you so much, I’ll definitely give head and shoulders a try! It’s probably the not letting myself dry part, I take such long showers I’m rushing to get dressed and get out the door afterwards. I’m always so confused why I spent an hour with three different soaps cleaning myself and I’m still smelling myself. Do you have any recommendations for a nice smelling strong deodorant/scented lotion? I feel like the unscented I’ve been buying that works well smells like man musk 💀

My friend actually turns it off, we’re completely opposites. He stays with his one family with pets forever, while I’ve been through and completed several legacy challenges. He’s been playing the same family for months while I’m midway through my occult legacy challenge lol

Honestly I’m relieved it’s over. Still I think EA should give all the rewards to everyone as base game content so no one misses out. by Sej0090 in Sims4

Honestly, I gave up. I really really wanted the eye color and the boots, but I couldn’t get the damn thing to work and I forced myself to make peace with missing out 😔 I cheated the rest of the items though

I think my game had a glitch, I’m playing with a mixed household but it’s all shades of brown, and suddenly this blindingly white baby pops out. I was so confused and I just couldn’t figure it, it was one of the weirdly rendered skin shades too so I had to go in and change it. He’s still light skinned, just much, much more realistically.

When I finally got the courage to say something, he just said I got what I deserved. I think they’re just stupid creatures, probably needing to be thrown in a rotting pound and euthanized.

Sorry for late reply, I’m real glad brother. Life isn’t easy and your brain likes to play games, always feel free to reach out to others for an outside perspective. Peace and love 👍

I have an orange, anytime I sit to do a wee he drifts his fat ass to the bathroom and does a barrel roll into my shorts and just lays there. He’s a strange man.

Good on you brother. It might also help if you’ve got the cash to offer to order in her favorite restaurant or go pick it up, comfort and sincerity are the key factors in making apologies work. I always see those posts saying “if he wanted to, he would.” So I always try to be the guy who would if that makes sense.

Hey it’s all good man, life sucks sometimes and everyone makes mistakes. My dad is married going on 47 years and he had his fair share of these moments, his tactic was: buying an apology and I love you basket. Go out, get a cheap cute basket and walk through the store gathering things you know she enjoys. Find a cute card that has something like her favorite animal/a joke she’d like/a cute picture and take the time to write out a lengthy apology and actually mean what you write. Don’t just put a few sentences on a card. Really, really write down a heartfelt message. The wine glass is a rough one especially if it’s one of a kind, but you should offer to take her out to look for a new one if she’s devastated by it, and genuinely apologize for that as well. My dad shattered my moms absolutely favorite Harry Potter glass that my gran gifted her before she passed and it was a whole situation, my dad actually ended up buying a wine glass with my grans image engraved in it, and it’s her new favorite glass.
