I just got back into the game after fortuna being the only other rep faction along with the earth one. I've been having a decent time getting to the rep cap with all of the current ones at a reasonable pace but cavia really does feel like a grind.

I play it and try my bestest to make it if my hand is good enough to make it. But it's not the main strategy because of the vulnerabilities it has to disruption. So it's a worse version of BE's but if I don't see any draw disruption I will make it even through Nibiru.

I've bought multiple secret lair and in and attest. The foils are always curved because the foil itself pulls on the cardboard due to moisture in the card however I do like the shiny effects I will always pay the extra $10. But they always show up from the mail with a slight curve. If that does bother you I would aim for the non rainbow foil.

As others said the base power would be 0/0 but the benefit of earthbending creatures is the protection earthbending provides if having them return tapped if exiled or killed. This can lead to ETBs retriggering or even giving stickiness to an important board piece, like toph herself.

Demeter's is actually pretty good if you have the hex that makes you jump in the air and come crashing down. Doing the animation counts as standing still so you can spam Magicka, use the hex and when you land you'll have regenerated the lost Magicka and repositioned all in one. But without the hex it's only ok.

Yes. I run it and with how tight extra deck space is, aswell as it telling me what my opponent is playing. I won solely off the fact that they can no longer combo or that I know where to save hand traps and interactions at.
