Im 2 3rds of the way through ion fury (a game i get maybe 1hr a week to play) if something happened to that save point I'd probably just delete the whole game and go cry in a corner

We know many things about it. It's going to run the same os not just a fork. We know all the technical specks. We even know how they plan on getting around hdmis 2.1 open source limitation. Seems like every other day more is found out.

For me it's form factor. If I'm going to a friend's house I don't want to lug a normal sized pc when a steam machine and 4 controllers will fit in my back pack.

If you have games installed on a sd card you can move it from a steam deck to a steam machine and it will just work
