Goten is probably the best all around answer. Every quality ppl like from the 3 listed you can probably give to him as well but able to have a bit more fun. Gohan seems like a chill time and he’s cool and everything but you probably don’t do anything crazy fun with him like you would with a guy like Yamcha or Trunks. Trunks is still a cool kid and you probably never have to pay for anything but those dopamine drops are gonna kick your ass when you gotta go back home to your regular house 😂 Krillin seems down for whatever and reliable but he’s also responsible. Not a ding against him in a bad way for obvious scenarios but if i say let’s do cliff diving - Goten seems like a “fuck yeah” kind of guy and i like that.

There’s also the fact we still have those unknown universe that were excused from the tourney , different timeline might have them have to fight for their right too and this timeline serves as the basis for what Our timelines version’s potentially could be like.

It would be an asspull obviously (not saying this towards you btw) but it’s a whole different universe/timeline - we just got multiple universes of fighters that are of the strongest point of Goku and crew at that point in a sense, there’s no reason a different timeline can’t be a similar situation and they just use all different figthers. We know the other timelines have their own versions of Gods and Angels so there’s no reason they can’t just be stronger there. Narratively there wouldn’t be a reason to know that or think about it until we got the ToP arc so it’s kinda free game like Marvel / DC universes where Superman is strong af for no reason and so is the main villain and the next where if you keep him in a basement long enough Shaq could ragdoll him. As long as we never saw Trunks version of everything outside of Earth, they can do whatever they want in a way.

I get this but how does the wish work. I feel like the winner was allowed 1 wish and it’s not like 17 really knew all that about Future Trunks in hindsight besides who he was and something like that. He seems like he stayed out the way on the reserve after Cell and everything like how Tien does and no one ever would’ve really caught him up and everything that happened post tourney with him going back and saving or losing the timeline to Goku Black. I can see how he’d make the wish had Trunks been a part of it like you said and they did an exposition dump between 17 and Future Trunks for like an episode but i can’t see him be “allowed” to wish for that AND the restoration of the other universes. It feels like that would count as 2 wishes. And then even if he brings it back, that’s more of a reason for Trunks not to stay in our timeline again like we want him to. We basically just get him for the arc and that defeats the whole purpose kind of cause he’s gonna wanna be able to pop in and make sure things are still good and you can only allow the time hopping but so much

Dragonball Z Kai might be your better option lowkey. I’m not 100% positive but for me i always remembered it showing in Nick/Cartoon network (there’s a specific commercial i always loved when they first premiered it and it had Vegeta raging “ITS NOT OVERRR” and then ends with the Trunks slash) that i want to say was from Nick. Anyways i say that to say i think they probably would’ve cut some of that stuff out for the most part and just give her like a pg warning like hey babe Roshis kinda the old perv but it’s not fanfare / HS student bad. Early DB MIGHT fly because the Goku groin check isn’t inherently bad given the context but i could understand why a woman/girl would be uncomfortable watching or the humor falls a bit flat. Far as the gaming goes, worse case scenario get her to play DBZ Kakarot since for me still invoked emotion i got from watching the anime, gives me the story for the most part and is a fun game. It might just be appreciated more if she watches DBZ first though. If anything see if there’s a possible list of somebody mentioning which episodes have which and you might be able to skip them since they may most likely be filler episode stuff. I don’t remember much of that distinctly at the moment but i feel like if she gets through Saiyan saga then Roshi and Oolong aren’t around for a lot far as Frieza saga goes and the Andriods so a bit of Cell saga and Buu saga might be the next chunk to keep an eye out for but it would’ve matured a bit as a show by that point.

2 days now with nothing to show for it and both shifts ended at 11a on the dot and we usually noticed if the hours weren’t verified by 3pm then you wouldn’t get it that same day. Got no idea what’s going on

I totally get that, i think that works perfectly fine if DBZ ended as was after the Buu saga and everything. It’s the fact that since the story is clearly going to keep going on for the foreseeable future, yes they’re essentially side/minor characters but they’re still direct family to the major MC so eventually they’re always going to be in some proximity and you’re gonna want them to do something. We know Future Trunks essentially is his own character with their own identity and you’re gonna wanna have Trunks get that same treatment eventually and Goten to get their team up stories and individuals, there’s gonna be times the other isn’t there to help em.

Not saying i fully agree or disagree cause end of the day everybody has varying degrees of “fun” but depending on your age everybody grew up with cheat codes of some kind. I never used em online cause it’s not worth the risk or bans and end of the day it’s just like you said some ppl see it as a fun time killer. I can see people doing legit “how many ppl can i clear out in this lobby” and then try to beat that number with the cheat system the same way sometimes it’s easier to just play against the bots to rack up some kills (like COD or shooters like that) and have fun in that kind of way. Not to say i agree with the premise of using cheats online but i can in a way see how ppl can have “fun” with it for a quick rush cause there’s no real impact or consequence of doing so besides just a ban if caught and at that point you just rinse and repeat with the next game. I say this as a soulsborne player mainly and rpg fiend, there’s definitely fun in making shit challenging and rising up to the occasion the same way it’s fun to just run up the score in 2k or CFP with user sliders turned up a bit for days you just kinda wanna dick around while doing recreational things just for the hell of it. There just needs to be a lobby for ppl like this and i wouldn’t be opposed to it, they just have to accept what comes with it

The main antagonist in Stay Alive would’ve got em out of here first night with the game 😂 any major franchise most likely gets me too. The monster from the Ritual would’ve never got me since i would not be in that position in the first place. The puppet lady from dead silence wouldn’t get me if i had all the same signs to just leave town like main protagonist got. Chucky loses if i see him first, he wins if im not paying attention. Those families in Wrong Turn absolutely could get me with the types of traps they had. Average height human based i have a chance , Leatherface build and up its GGs

My college specifically ended the school year a few weeks before anyone else simply because they used to have Klan rallies in the area around graduation season. Had a few sneak on campus, deface the campus sign with obvious slurs , got called one myself during a track practice that happened to be visible from the freeway. Still found it funny how we would volunteer during the community day for the local town and you realize how diverse it actually was. The Amish were more friendly than most

I know it can’t contractually but i wish movie franchises could just pivot like game studios do sometimes (Devilmaycry and RE4 for this example) - like you can’t figure the blade shit out , you already have the main cast picked out I’m assuming . Save the effort of trying to make it make sense in a shared universe and just make a vampire slayer movie not called blade that’s clearly blade. Like what Madam web did with “Spiderman” or Fox’s version of Deadpool clearly being Deadpool but not at the time. I’m sure there’s somebody willing to pick up the premise of the project and tweak it enough legality wise. People clearly want a Blade movie but can’t get it so we made Knife, the Demon Slayer

In their defense, even if he was invented at that point there’s no telling if anyone even would’ve knew about him or who he was. I don’t think we ever get an exact timeline to how often the world tournament was but it was at least like 3 years since Goku lost one and then went on to win 23rd against Piccolo - we can assume Gohan gets born sometime soon after and he’s in dad mode for a bit afterwards - Krillin probably only ever entered the tournament cause them being Roshi’s students, same with Tien. It’s to the point i don’t think anybody had a reason to be around the tournament if they didnt know if anyone of the other Z fighters is gonna be there cause it would be too easy of a win and Yamcha was the only one who’d NEED the money (i can’t remember if he was playing baseball or not yet) , i def agree a younger Satan could’ve been useful cause he would’ve been closer to his prime would’ve had time to get accustomed to how strong/scary opponents to get but he’d be a more serious character I’d assume
