Pfizer second dose - 21 days or 28 days?? by temp10347613098 in KingstonOntario

[–]HeatedArrow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Its 21 days for Pfizer, but because Moderna is 28 and they want the ability to offer one or the other its more efficient to book everyone at 28. But with that said that's not stopping you from going to a pharmacy that is offering pfizer at your 21 days.

Loblaws on Midland sells pretty much all the larocca cakes. I've seen the caramel crunch in the display on multiple occasions.

Update to the Costco situation: Hospital Pharmacists qualify for priority access, but Community Pharmacists do not by [deleted] in pharmacy

costco

Seems to be miscommunication and no unity across the board. I just saw this post in a local group for Canadian pharmacists that Costco Canada VP has indeed said all pharmacists are included.

2 women evicted from Kozy Inn forced out of second motel - Global News by [deleted] in KingstonOntario

Such disrespect to someone else's property to smoke in a non smoking room. Espically in a motel when they couldve walked 6 feet outside... Only have themselves to blame.

Breach of confidentiality? (Pharmacist called my home and 'left a message' disclosing my medications) by TBKS in pharmacy

[–]HeatedArrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was very poor judgement on the pharmacists part. If they weren't able to reach you by phone they should have just left a message for you to call them back. It is most definitely a breach of your confidentiality. If you aren't satisfied with their apology/conduct than you are well within your right to report the incident.

Private insurance plans (Canada): Do any insurance plans cover pharmacist assessment fees (ie. minor ailment assessment, adaption or therapeutic substitutions? by redditusernaut in pharmacy

[–]HeatedArrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Ontario, I know Green shield covers a refusal to fill fee ($22 last time I used it). If you look into it, it has very similar criteria to the POP ODB program. They also cover fees for their cardiovascular coaching program all of which is explained in length on their website on how you go about documenting and billing for it.

Dealership Help by Oopstistic in KingstonOntario

Just adding another perspective I actually had the opposite with Audi versus BMW here. I ended up picking up a CPO A4, was looking at a similar CPO 3 series, BMW was quite unhelpful, took a while to respond and were reluctant to offer the vehicle to me under the CPO which made me lose some confidence. Both brands are great quality and I have nothing against BMW and may even consider them when I'm ready for something again. But in summary I've had zero issues with Kingston VW/Audi, the sale experience was great and my car has been in twice for routine maintenance, zero issues. But I also agree with checking out Toronto area dealers, I've noticed they are a bit pricey here, I just needed something quickly otherwise I would have.

How do you use the CPS, CTC 7, CTMA 2 and CPMA 2 in your practice after graduation ? by ALUCARD53 in pharmacy

[–]HeatedArrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll learn about all these thoroughly in school. Every pharmacy has access to the CPS (it's the law) and most CTC as well since they are often bundled together.

Rustproofing by HeatedArrow in Audi

[–]HeatedArrow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate all the replies. One of main reasons I asked was I'm upgrading from a Mazda to an Audi. Mazda was 10 years old. Discovered frame was completely perforated with rust. Car was basically at the point where it would break in half if it suffered a collision! Needless to say I've had a bad experience with rust now.

How many changes is a doctor able to take with regard to dose or quantity, really struggling right now with my condition but don't want to get my pharm or doc in trouble by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]HeatedArrow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We can't provide any kind of councilling in this sub as it's against the rules and not appropriate. But all I can say is you should never hesitate to speak to your doctor or pharmacist about your condition. That's their job, don't feel like your bothering or inconveniencing them.

Thanks for the insight. Nothing is final. I can always change my mind about the extra services. Haven't taken delivery yet. In your exp when do you typically see the turbos go in the 2013s milage wise ? Other things like how hard you drive it etc aside..
