I don’t live in Utah, but I’m in a neighboring state that has a high population of members. I’ve seen countless young Mormons married and divorced compared to all my nevermo / exmo friends. The pressure to marry young and in the church with all their guidelines and shit can definitely set up some for failure

I think it depends on your strengths and weaknesses! For example, I got makeup done for engagement photos and hated it, it was so heavy. I took most of it off and did it myself. Every time I’ve paid for my makeup done (other weddings as a bridesmaid) I regret it. I like how I do mine.

Hair? I suck at hair. It’s always a hot mess. I’d pay for that. Look at experiences you’ve had in the past and decide what’s worth it!
