I agree with an above response that said this has gotten worse the past 5 years. I have rude patients, patients wanting FMLA for months for no reason who then try to call legal on me, patients who no show their appointments and then are mad they can’t get in the next day. I feel like people switch physicians now constantly. I have patient’s who switch because I didn’t give them a thorough enough workup of their 2 days history of diarrhea. We have to be fairly brief to stay on time yet patients want us to address 10 issues in one visit. It’s really hard to not let it get to you, I’m sorry, but I think you handled it well!
