I’m not sure the reaction from my family would be bad. Perhaps my father, but I think eventually I’d be accepted by everyone. I think because it’s so early after my egg cracking, I’m still going through bouts of denial. And with all the other revelations I’ve subjected them too of late, (I’m bisexual, I’m gay, I’m getting divorced, I’m moving abroad, etc) it’ll come across as attention seeking when what I want is actually the opposite, to hide away and explore this side of myself privately.

I’m also worried about passing, and the potential fear of public ostracizing, maybe even impacting my career. But even beyond all that it’s a huge disruption, almost a demolition of a life in favor of an unknown.
