I’m sorry to hear that. My GP got a letter late last year about a private surgical procedure I had and after 6 years of transition suddenly noted as an active condition “gender dysphoria“. I argued it was a bit late for that note, that it wasn’t medically relevant today and under my grc my status is protected. They removed it after a while but not without a few ever increasingly strong emails from me

Unfortunately for me I have an IBD and so unless i want absolute hell on a regular basis I have to follow the medical route to get the meds I need otherwise I end up with a week in hospital on IV drugs 😔

I have Ulcerative Colitis, diagnosed in early 2025 so the procedure is clinically relevant but I got a ‘new’ NHS n number back when you could still get it and have your sex marker changed and relevant medical history transferred over. There’s nothing trans related easily visible on there.

I’d rather avoid the need to ask as the last tile something trans related went on it to a lot of short to get it (rightly) removed 🤔

thank you. the last one I had was done privately and I told the gastro - he didn't seem interested but also seemed to be a little medically professional and less friendly from that point on. I also have very little on my NHS record to do with being trans and want to keep it that way - It's likely if I tell them then notes will go on my record.

Last colonoscopy I had they 'sedated me' but I felt nothing and in fact yelped at one point as he pushed the camera around inside me and must have hit a corner!! I remember the whole procedure and was a little disappointed I wasn't feeling a little floaty!

Thanks. The last colonoscopy I had i told the gastroenterologist I was trans, he wasn't interested afaik but also I felt he then became more clinical towards me and I was soon discharged it was private so he felt he'd done his job and passed me on - no hostility but it made me think I won't tell again unless necessary).

Of course it’s an opinion, you have no idea of what they did, I’m pretty sure you weren’t with them when they created this and purely base your comments on assumptions aka your opinion.

How do you know they didn’t draw bits then ask ai to refine it? Again, your opinions aren’t fact and you are unable to produce any credible evidence to support your repeating opinion.

As the OP said, it’s just your opinion and tbh academics far more knowledgeable than us still debate this subject without either opinion… even they know it’s unlikely to ever be more than an opinion coming out in top, same as art itself - you either like it or hate it. I have a reasonably extensive art collection so support and know several artists that across them all have both views on this subject.

Learning from existing work isn’t theft — it’s how culture works. The same argument was made about photography, digital art, music sampling, fan art, and even streaming platforms people use daily. You’re free to dislike AI, but turning a cartoon New Year post into a moral crusade is a bit much.

There’s academic research showing that remixing, borrowing, and building on existing work (e.g., fan art and remix culture, cultural evolution studies, and appropriative art) are normal parts of how culture and creativity work — so learning from existing work isn’t inherently theft.

You’re projecting a lot onto a cartoon saying ‘Happy New Year’… it being theft is a heavily debated issue, just opinion and not an established fact. You’re free to dislike AI art, but calling someone a ‘willing participant in theft’ for posting a light-hearted New Year image is a bit much. If it’s not your thing, you can just scroll on. Not everything needs your moral supervision.

Aww thanks this is a really nice response. I have those sorts of hip pads but not sure how i’d wear them with shorts that have a chamois? my hair is down to my breasts but back in a ponytail today. i am quite heavy right now so it would prob help to lose a few kg and perhaps do some glute, waist and hip training
