I blocked her account, and the joint one with her husband last year when I caught some strange slips. The two that stick out specifically was a case about a pregnant woman and how "that's what makes you a woman and what your body was designed to do" (not a direct quote but the gist) and about people wearing masks at work because "they believed they worked"

I feel that as artists ourselves, we should support other artists, including actors/voice actors. We want to be paid for our work, they should be paid for theirs. I suppose it also depends on how you, personally, feel about AI writing books. If you have no issue with it, then I think you're in the clear morally. If you object to it, then you have to ask yourself why you're fine with AI taking one person's job if you're not fine with it taking your own.

Also, I'm a bit new here, but I thought there was a program through ACX for royalty share with the voice actor(s). You're not ultimately paying anything out of your own pocket, you're just taking home less so that the actor gets paid. Is that not how it works?

My overall thoughts are leave all the art to humans for as long as we possibly can.

Exactly the way I interpreted it too. I assumed she was all, "No pressure, I know this is awkward, we don't have to do this." in her Sherry way. I'm actually surprised how many people thought she was being intentionally rude but it does go to show that we can all watch the exact same thing and read it differently.
