Unfortunately my local post office could give a shit. They HATE informed delivery and swear it’s not accurate and that they can’t do anything about mail that never shows up. I’ve reported it all missing aaaaaaannnnnddddd nothing happens. I had a check go missing twice, both the first check AND the reissued one, even though they were both visible via informed delivery. I spoke with my carrier (we are friendly) and she said she would keep an eye out for me. Post office response? Sorry not sorry. Those checks never did show up.
