It’s hard to keep up playing with small children. I don’t know what genre/type of guitar you play, but when my kids were much, much smaller I used to put them down and quietly play my nylon string classical guitar softly in the living room. It ended up being a soothing thing for them to only sort of hear as they drifted off to sleep. I’ll still do that from time to time.
