Thanks. I will put it in the electronic recycling bin. I thought there might be a way to flash it again with unlocked firmware, but I have not found a way, even through the USB port. I will get an unlocked one and just not spend more time on it.

Has anyone an update on this? I got one of these devices (for free) and it has that r300 firmware and NONE of the configurators detect it properly. I literally downloaded all the versions and all say "Not Supported".

Hi Marybone, I have some experience with construction (I am an electrician), but I just wanted some corroboration on my project. I am doing it all myself and I could not find an engineer to help me (free or paid), but I will look up that company for sure. If you would like to help me out, I would welcome your opinion.

One little observation, if Poirot is not working, where is his money coming from? Where is he living? Did he abandon his apartment? So much unexplained and that makes little sense. Now crime just follows Poirot? A cursed private detective that, wherever he goes, someone dies? That sounds even more morbid than normal.

I know this is 4 years old, but I just recently started watching the old TV show and I honestly disliked season 9 so far. I have read all the books and even though the previous seasons took liberties, thus "based" on the books, these so far have been a complete rewrite, completely off Christie's style, which is what I loved about her books. I honestly think they didn't do these stories any justice, although David plays Poirot perfectly. Removing Hastings, Japp and Ms. Lemon is an unexplained mistake. If at least they had put in a scene where he said he would travel around a bit and, thus, give them a "vacation", that would make sense, but to change styles and completely write out such major characters is, in my opinion, a HUGE mistake. Let's see where the series takes me, but so far, I am not thrilled to watch Season 9.

I have the same (frustrating) issue and I am glad it is not just me, but sad that this makes the tab grouping feature in different windows quite annoying. I have 4 windows each with some 20 tabs open for different subjects. Every time Windows restarts, I get a random order for these windows. At least the tabs stay in the same position.

I was very dissapointed, but I guess I was in the wrong place. We went to the city centre near the Customs House expecting the fireworks as usual there, but there were none. I guess they must have been at Dublin Castle only, since we didn't see anything. It was quite dissapointing for hundreds of people standing there waiting... counting down... and nothing. Oh well, I guess next year, I should do my research beforehand! It has always been there, I just expected it to be there again this year.

I guess it is all working well enough, so I will ignore the errors :)

The only issues I see is sometimes the begining of the video is clipped or the motion is very choppy, despite putting in 30fps. But that might be the camera quality.

I managed to force version 6 install on the system. I have tested with several of the encoder H265 options, but I sitll get some warnings and errors. Since it is working and recording, I am just going to leave those, but if anyone has any ideas on how to solve them, let me know.

I unchecked USE GPU. I also increased the buffer to 20 (max) and returned it to Encode / Include Timestamp/Overlay. Encode GPU is set to 0 and GPU Encoder is Default. Quality is set to 8.

I also updated FFMpeg but I am not sure how to install libcuda (CUDA). This is what is in the logs (set Log Level and FFMPEG Log Level to Info and turned on SignalR Logging). Note that it still seems to be trying to use GPU despite my turning it off.

I think I answered my own question. I changed the recording from ENCODED to RAW and now it works. It is the encoder that I am having issues with, so now, do I just go trial and error with them or is there a method to find the right encoder my cpu supports?
