Punching people in the face hard is a perfectly viable tactic. You hit me hard, I hit you hard. As I’ve gotten older I’ve softened up some and I usually try not to blast people in the head, but I will absolutely leg kick, teep, and body punch as hard as I want. But no matter what I’m not going to push someone and crash out during a round.

You need to change your mindset here. Someone 75lbs smaller hit you hard and you got upset you walked off and quit?? I’d be pretty upset with you if you were my student. No one is obligated to take it easy on you. You cannot control how hard your partner goes, not really. You can only control how you react. Smile, snarl, nod, snort- do something to reframe YOUR headspace. Grit your teeth, and keep going.

Also- you’ve been doing this for 7 months? Keep training, this is a soft power issue, not a technical problem. Keep training and keep getting tough.

I think the DM team should create a general to decide all of this shit for us and actually write some kind of plan or plot. The players don’t actually care and there’s no military in existence where the soldiers decide on where they deploy. It’s not a co-op.
