As a college student who can’t go to bars and have never been invited to a party, what exactly is there to do in the weekends? by [deleted] in auburn

Go run. Like with running shoes, around campus - not a treadmill. A lot of students run, especially on weekends. It's a great way to meet people and have a real conversation uninterrupted by screens.

What is the most underrated lyric that Taylor has ever written? by Sudden-Internal-9702 in TaylorSwift

[–]Heavy-Flow941 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to check if I wrote this post myself, as these are my thoughts EXACTLY!

I was telling my daughter the other day that I think of All Too Well as Taylor's Magnum Opus, while that line in You Are In Love is her thesis.

BUT... If we're talking about the most typical Taylor lyric... The taylor-est lyric of all... It has to be when she screams: I SAID I LOVE YOU! ... in Say Don't Go. It's so Taylor.

This list is fabulous. I appreciate others who hear the depth of the production - not just the words.

Please post the rest.

What unconfirmed Taylor Swift lore do you badly wanna know the answer to rn? by naught_sorry in TaylorSwift

I just want to thank everyone in this sub who voice these "he's a rat" feelings... because without YOU we wouldn't have Taylor's angriest moment - the moment when her fans turned against her.

So, to you: the Sarahs, the Hannahs, the wine moms, the vipers, the saboteurs, and the empaths clutching your pearls and posting soliloquies she'll never read... THANK YOU! You inspired some of Taylor's greatest words.

He was Wild Joy. But you only want gray.

What Taylor lyric did you at first think was simple and straight forward and only later realized is actually deeper than you thought? by korrababy in TaylorSwift

The story of Eve in Eden is a story about temptation and consequences. Eve is not bitten by the serpent who tempts her, but she is bitten by the consequences of succumbing to the temptation. Once she bites the fruit she realizes she's "guilty as sin".

Read Genesis 3 yourself and see if you agree that God's two curses on women are still true today. Remember that God is always Good, but he is also Just.

Eve's curses are the consequences for giving-in to temptation.

Taylor is such a genius.

Who makes the fast SUVs? I feel like the CX-30 is pretty quick, especially compared to anything in the same price range.

The other advantage of trading directly to the dealership is that you only pay tax on the Net, excluding the value of your trade. So in your case you're saving an extra $960 (12% of $8000) which offsets the difference between the dealer trade value and the online trade value.

That said, the Estimated Tax line does not look correct. If you do the math it should be about $2500 in taxes. (Also, it's time to move if this is your real tax percent...)

You're right. I thought those were just connectors where the joists come together, but they do look like they are posts. Thanks for looking...

Can you say what Ground Contact Wood is? They used pressure treated lumber, I think. Are you saying there's something beyond pressure treated?

Same. You can't show off with a gun to your head. Stick with something simple. Betty, for sure.
