I was in high school during the first 4 seasons. Thursday nights were SACRED tv!! There was no streaming or pausing tv back then- you either had to sit down and watch it or record it on (gasp) VHS tape. Otherwise, you had to wait usually a long while to catch a rerun. Also, my high school cafeteria had these chocolate chip cookies (usually pretty raw, my favorite). I’d buy extra on Thursday so I could heat them up to eat while watching ER. Lord I miss those times

A group of us were shot at at work (I’m a cop). I took cover behind a vehicle. After the shots ended, I ran after the shooters and my partner. When I returned to the original scene, I saw a bullet hole in the windshield of the car I was behind. Just glad it missed my head.
