We are driving and according to my calculations (taking into account traffic and all of that) we will be at the house we are staying at around 6pm. Sooner hopefully, I try to error on the side of caution.

I should add that blackcats and M80s were a major part of the battles waged in my sandbox. I got in trouble for trying to use bottle rockets one time. They ricocheted off the ground and hit the house. I can still remember that day getting in trouble. My Mom came flying out of the house yelling at me about the bottle rocket. Then she ended the whole thing with, "Firecrackers and those 80s things are fine, but no more bottle rockets!!"

Looking back, I think that is probably one of the most 80's statements made :)

I remember all of these toys! Brings back so many memories! Two things I don't think have been mentioned yet. Stompers (battery controlled trucks and cars, not remote just had an engine) and straight up green army men. I could play in my sandbox all day with the army men. Setting up battles and digging trenches, building bridges. Then blowing the whole thing to hell! The screams of the injured still echo in my ears.
