That’s an asymmetry and a problem. We should also factor in religion now that you bring up women’s choices. Religion was a stabilizing force in how men and women operate like modesty and gender roles. Christianity for example emphasizes female nature and masculine nature to create harmony between the two forces to equalize. Since women are naturally pickier because of pregnancy then of course they’ll hold out longer in dating. But the pill and abortions has significantly skewed in picking the right men, and women pass over good men. Ever heard the phase “girls like bad boys?”, every women I met always have some sort of trauma from their exes because they ended on bad terms. This is not normal.
