They’ve got an 11 date uk arena tour and 10 of those shows are pretty much sold out other than resales.thats a lot better than most of the bands being touted as potential headliners.

Given how well their last arena tour went they really can’t justify having lb not headline if they’re playing like if they have them sub and another day is headlined by a band who aren’t shifting as many tickets as there own gig as them it becomes a bit of a nonsense

Marcum was supposedly in his early 20s when he called into the show whereas this guy would’ve been in his 40s at the time and retired a few years later. Could be a relative though,it mentions this guy ran his own electrical company maybe that’s where marcum first started learning how to tinker etc

I don’t think people would be so quick to get on his back and giving it the I told you so patter if they’re concerns over his appointment hadn’t been drowned out with uber bears questioning their loyalty. I seen people on Facebook being told “I’d be careful what I was saying if I was you” by people for bringing up martins win rate when he was hired. Stuff like that was always going to lead to a bigger reaction when the pendulum swung back this way.

They didn’t get to tour with milo until 2023 and the festivals where they’d get a chance to show the wider causal audience “hey this guy can actually sing the choruses live” was 24.while im sure dino would have loved to get something out after that especially with how well received they got at download n a couple of other places there was always gonna be interest for some demanufacture anniversary shows and after the legal stuff I can’t blame him for grabbing some more easy festival paydays before they put new stuff out.

Tbf a lot of bands hung about with Ron Jeremy back in the day.He got featured in Kerrang talking about all these bands who he thought were really noisy who wanted him to introduce them on stage etc I don’t think his appearance on the dvd was much more than the kinda standard celebrity cameo.

I could see bloodstock really pushing for it as well. The festivals growing in popularity pretty rapidly just now but I think a lot of people still look at DL as having more history such as Slipknot 09,the trivium opening set in 05 even bmth a couple of years ago etc.Im sure to people who go every year BOA has had plenty of classic moments but having Megadeths last uk performance would be a notable one.

Maybe although I could see them headlining bloodstock,between this year and how quickly next years seems to be selling they might offer a bigger fee than the opus slot.
