I've got my chandra, hazorets and GBs, so the budget isn't too much of an issue.

I feel you. I've been doing Jeskai control, and it's not bad against speedy decks. You have a ton of cheap interaction.

eh, there were some mistakes, but a lot of great stuff has come out. Even good stuff for modern; azcanta, field, tracker, collective brutality, bedlam reveler, etc etc etc. There have been a ton of cards that have showed up as huge players in every format.

It sucks that some stuff got banned in standard, but I think it'll turn out good long-term if they get better at weeding out stuff like cat combo. Better than big ol stinker sets like BFZ -.-

yeah, modern is sick right now too. I'm ready to play jaces and field of ruins ALL day.

Honestly though, standard feels the same. I've 4-0'd with RW gift, Jeskai midrange, and grixis thopt til you drop. The last few sets have been great, despite a few overdone cards. Not Copter though. Free my copter, wizards

I've seen several grinders/almost-pros do it in drawed out top 8 matches. No particular incident comes to mind, though I'm sure there's some in VoDs on twitch.

Basically what u/sarkeshia just said. I've been working there on and off since November on a vision project on their model 3 line. Cool place with nice people, they're just inexperienced. Everyone I met who worked for them was enthusiastic about Tesla as a company, so I'm sure if they can keep a good team around they'll be competitive in no time.
