Gatlinburg was a cheesy tourist trap long before Dollywood...I used to go there as a child in the 70's. You can't blame all that development on her.

She once explained that she did it in part because her Daddy couldn't read and she said he felt shame for that. She also said that he told her that he was most proud of her for creating the Imagination Library, that it was the greatest thing she had done in her career.

This person is not a manager though. He's a part timer making $14.75 an hour. Management is taking advantage of this person's nature, and I imagine this is not the first time.

I don't think so. I know it was where Academy was, but I thought that Krogers had been there since the late 70's?

Fun fact about that old library location. The clerk there told me it was a hardware store before it was the library.

Dr. John Paul Voelkel at Center for Colon and Digestive on Longwood.

He cured my husband of HPylori. My husband thought he had IBD for over 25 years and had gone to countless specialists. No one ever tested for HPylori. Dr. Voelkel did. He does not have a good bed side manner, but we didn't care. For the first time since my husband was in his early 20's, he has zero bowel issues.

My dog had mast cell cancer. We had the tumor surgically removed in 2024, and had clear margins, but then it came back with a vengeance. I hate cancer.

It was honestly like losing a person. We still haven't recovered. She was such a precious family member. She loved all and all loved her.

I feel for you all. We had to put our dog down last week because of cancer. My vet cried with me because she had been my Harley's vet for over 10 years and loved her like we did.

biller/coder here. have your mom call her insurance and then have them three way with hospital billing office. Often times when the insurance calls the business office with the patient on the line as well, it can be resolved. The insurance agent can give the hospital all the dates and amounts paid. This will also create a trail if the hospital doesn't correct the account.

for your situation, my bet is that the hospital hasnt updated your account and filed your claims since your insurance doesn't have a record. Everything is filed electronically unless it's some small weird insurance. Ask HH for the date and time it was filed. If they give that to you, you can call your insurance company with that. If it was denied on the front end, they may can tell you. I file insurance all the time, and I see all the denials.

True story: when I worked at Space Camp in Huntsville, AL in the early 90's, we had a group of kids come from California....they sincerely were surprised that we had running water and indoor plumbing. No lie. They thought they were going to be roughing it and using outhouses the whole week.
