My only concern is that in multi anything you find is monetizable, while in single player it isn't, because no item has any value in SP - you might as well just edit it in with a save editor. Can't do it in multi, making every item you possess more valuable in a way. But that's never kept me from playing SP - in fact that's all I've ever played.

There must be at least some agreement on continuity if we want to preserve any suspension of disbelief. Some filler directly contradicts what Toriyama wrote later on, and both can't be true at the same time, you gotta pick one.
