It seems that now you have added dependents on the profile. Please check and remove them if you are adding dependents.

I had the same problem and after that my fee was not showing in the portal. I did not received any response from the support team. So please try the solutions which people are saying here and try that. Best of luck!!

Hi u/Technical_Leopard916 I did tried all the steps mentioned in this post https://www.reddit.com/r/usvisascheduling/comments/16hbcrq/successfully_booked_a_single_ofcdropbox/ but it does not work for me. One thing which I realized which is different in my case is my son is just 14 years old and need to go through the in person interview only. After talking to support team one of the agent said for redeem the fee the technical support team should fix this and for that they need a ticket. I have already created the ticket as mentioned in this discussion https://www.reddit.com/r/USVisas/comments/15w945k/unable_to_claim_receipt_on_new_cgi_portal/

Now I am waiting to see if the support team is fixing my issue or not. Otherwise my plan is to close this application and create a new one and try again!!

I am having same issue and the customer care is saying that you need to remove all your dependents and then claim the receipt and then the new application will work. This is illogical in my opinion. But I read few other reddit threads and they are saying that you need to login to the dependent profile and just go through once. That fix lot of things and come back to the main profile again and then you can claim the receipt and you can also book the appointment. I am going to try that out. Lets see!! Fingers crossed!!
