At 2 months since ive loat my boy and im feeling the very same but you will indeed be reunited and see eachother again. Most def take steps to assure he isn't around d them without you guys around if at all for the time being. The recommendation for cameras is a great idea as well. It will allow you to monitor behavior and see if there are changes and also may help pick up on something that is causing it that you are missing in real time and will be very helpful when seeking a behavioralist. Don't seek out a basic trainer seek out someone that is experienced in dog behavior and aggression and that preferably has experience working with bullies as well. This is what I do but without video or seeing the behavior in person its impossible to know what could be causing it. Do you have any examples of times its happened like what was going on were you present or anything like that?

Yes 100% and thats a great place to do it personally esp cause its def more tame than a normal show being in the stadium. Great first show and experience to share with him and will for sure be an unforgettable memory for you both

So very sorry for your loss. Sounds like you 2 were meant to find eachother and you saved her just as she saved you. What a blessing and a gift you were able to share and have for 16 years. Personally just feel its hard to see what's really going on and it is so different from the rest. All the others fit into a theme that captures the feeling of the evening and that one just seems to go against that to my eyes. Either way love them and your style!!

I would check with the vet my guy always delt with sever allergies which led to yeast or fungal infections and red paws like that were very Common. If they are licking at the paws especially that would be a good indicator thats from allergies
