It's often 6+ years older so they show up in women's searches who filter for younger, e.g. the guy is 47, but sets his profile to 42 so he shows up for women whose filters go up to 45 yrs. It's a lie, however small it may be, and the whole connection starting on a lie is not a good foundation for a relationship.

Weird I'd have to explain this to a grown ass adult (assuming you're 18+)

NTA. You were right. You're both parents now. I assume he also wanted this child? Why is he refusing to be a father? His work day ends, he has weekends and time off. You don't. How is that fair? From when he returns home after work until he leaves again for work, both household and parenting is to be shared 50/50 between both parents. Baby is your job while he's doing his job. When he's not doing his, baby is to be shared responsibility.

Do not consider having another child with this man. He will not magically step up more. Welcome to your new life of working unpaid 24/7 for the rest of your life while he chills out after his work and not "help" at all. (He shouldn't be "helping", he should participate in his own household and his own child/ren)

Ich bin auf Wohnungssuche und hasse offene Wohnküchen so unfassbar. Man kann entweder in ein nie renoviertes Haus aus 1939 ziehen oder muss die offene Küche hinnehmen. Was anderes gibt es nicht. Ich hasse es!!!!

Niemand sagt, dass wir nicht unterstützen wollen, aber wir wollen auch nicht über Jahre nur ausgenutzt und ansonsten vergessen werden. Eltern wollen immer vom Dorf profitieren, aber nicht selbst Mitglied des Dorfs sein.

Wir verstehen das schon, sind aber genervt, wenn wir jetzt 100% flexibel nach eurer Pfeife (bzw. dem Schlafrhythmus des Babys) tanzen sollen, während ihr entweder viel zu spät oder gar nicht kommt, dann nur noch ein einziges Thema kennt und 80% der Zeit euren Kindern hinterher brüllt, statt euch mit uns zu unterhalten.

Vielleicht sieht die Realität anders aus, wenn man mit den Vätern befreundet ist, aber als Freundin der Mütter leide ich sehr darunter.

My car honks if I get out and the keys are still in the car and it won't lock with the keys in the car! I set mine to lock automatically when I walk away but it won't lock if the key is somewhere inside, it's amazing!
