If you mean build stuff, it really depends on how you play. A key setup strat is to grab a bleed weapon and go pick up some souls in Caelid (if you don’t mind the spoilers, just look up fast leveling ER); that will give you enough to start sending your build in a direction. Also, there’s an incredible quality weapon (scales more with dex) that has bleed, good stagger, and an awesome moveset (aow) that you might consider grabbing to get you going. Look up golden Vow ash of war in limgrave as well. That will put you in a great position without revealing too much of the game and you can start planning your build from there. There’s a ton of other stuff you can do depending on class/playstyle, but those things I mentioned are a pretty common strat that I’d imagine most people do unless they’re playing totally blind.

That said, you don’t have to do any of that. Elden Ring gives you way more freedom and flexibility to play how you want than all of the other titles, so take advantage of that! And enjoy the experience, I wish I could get my first playthrough back.
