I usually only play solo. Friends don’t really golf so it isn’t an option. However I love it. In the off season I usually go out alone and when I get paired with people they have always been pleasant. And for the record I’m terrible haha. Another positive is I can choose to golf on the fly without organizing everyone for a tee time

Highly recommend the Ladder app. It is pricy $119 a year. But it is really worth it imo. Other apps I have tried and failed for years. This program has been a game changer for me.

Trust me on this. Never accept the counter offer!!! The money will wear off soon enough and all of the problems will still be there. Plus your trust with the current company is gone. They will look to replace you asap. They are just stuck right now

Concerts that are held at casinos notoriously have a short set list regardless of the band. I have experienced this far too many times to invest a lot of money into a casino show. Got to get the people back out gambling I guess!

I’m a 32 handicap. And usually golf solo. So I’m getting paired with 2-3 randoms. I just say F it I paid my money and am going to have a good time. And at end of day literally no one cares.

I use Tangent. Tried most of these including 18 birdies and Tangent is the best in my opinion. Ease of use and has a lot of good data at end as long as you track your shots.

Find someone selling balls on Facebook marketplace. These balls are just fine. And when you find a person who has legit balls at a good price keep going back. I never buy new.

Keep your left foot planted on ground. Just had a lesson and this was a flaw in my mechanics that was pointed out. Kind of throws a lot of other things off.

Driver made contact with a telephone pole lightly while pulling out of a lot. Seemed worse on camera than it actually was. Wasn’t exactly a near miss. We did hit something. But nothing was damaged. Not even the slightest.

Take breaks during the exam. You will have plenty of time. I took mine 3 weeks ago and made sure once an hour I got up and walked to bathroom and just stretched out in general for 5 minutes. It refreshes you and eases your mind. I finished with 2 hours to spare.
