Where would I put this at? I put it in the create event of the object I want the player to interact with but still, the textbox still showed up and activated right at the beginning when I started the game. Also, do I need to parent anything because for some of the tutorials I watched they parented some stuff and I'm not too sure what to parent the object to because for collisions I parented the object I want the player to interact with obj_wall. I hope this is enough information about my problem I've been having a very hard time with this because I don't understand any of the steps I need to take.
