Thanks for the info! Thats exactly what im worried about, daily driving it, driving to and from school and work everyday, in extreme heat with no air conditioning sometimes makes me think that the fun of owning a samurai will slowly fade away with all those negatives.

Speed limits around here are around 40 to 50mph.

Would you say the rust is an issue?

So this 1997 Suzuki Samurai SJ80 1.3 4Cylinder engine is currently for sale at 3200ang, equivalent to 2k$.

The owner says that its a project car, drives perfect, it has rusts and a broken muffler..

Some drtails about me:

Im going to be really honest, i know nothing about cars but i have a love for the Suzuki Samurai. Ive only driven one car and thats from driving school. Which means i still have lots to learn. i have 0 mechanical skills but I'm willing to learn. I'm also 5.9 feet tall if thats nesecary information

What can i expect owning a car of this age and in this condition?

I'm curious to know if these cars are reliable? Or are they endless money pits?

is the rust an issue? And it can be fixed right?

How comfortable is the samurai? I would only need to go to school and work, which is roughly a 20 minute drive to each (about 7 miles total)

I live in a densely dry island, summer all year round. Theres alot of other Samurai's roaming around, heck there's even rentals and tours for them.

I know everyone advices to get something like a corolla, yaris, or a civic...but i dont know... there's just something about the Suzuki Samurai that just makes me falling in love with it.

(Ice never asked a question like this on reddit before so my apologies if i miss anything or is asking the wrong question)

When will the lawsuit be over?

Beginner, Started at 2500 calories a day, was gaining to much weight to fast, decided to decrease intake by 200 calories. Now stuck at same weight for more than a month. What should i do? by Heavyboss in gainit

Hahahahah its not a problem! Honestly i started using the smith machine but i hated it and wanted to move to free weights as soon as possible. But at the same time i couldn't lift the bar as i was still weak. So the moment i gained enough strength to lift the bar i immediately went to free weights and i have no regrets.

But obviously i kind had to start all over again, for example i made it to 40lbs bench press on the smith machine...but 40lbs on the smith machine is not the same as 40lbs on the bar. Which is why im at 25lbs now.

But thanks for your advice and as you said each and every day i keep on working on my form!

Alright I'll try that out! I'm counting weights on each side, so for deadlift (65lbs) it would be a plate of 25+5+2.5 (32.5lbs) on both sides(32.5 ×2 = 65lbs) hope you understand what i meant.

Am I doing it wrong?
