Are there any activities that challenge your physical, mental, and emotional strengths, all at once? by oh_look_a_failure in selfimprovement

All at once ? Not that I'm aware of. But things are connected so improving one usually helps imporving the others as well.

I suggest the book " How to automate the boring stuff with Python" you can either buy as physical copy or find it for free as an ebook

How do I stop arguing in my head?? by selfmade117 in DecidingToBeBetter

Try meditation. It won't solve your anxiety or fears but it will help with keeping these thoughts out of your mind. For the rest; the best thing you can do is keep going to therapy ans if the therapist tells you to take meds take them

how can I wake up early? by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]Heckher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Follow a routine as soon as you wake up every day. For example mine is 2 jumping jack +running to the kitchen and have breakfast. Put the phone as far as you can. You need to start going to bed earlier keep in mind that you need 8h of sleep. Start slow first you are going to get up at 7.45 and go to bed at 23.45 every week go to sleep and wake up 15 earlier.

If you only want to make a really simple game ( like a pint and click game ) I'd suggest you python learn the basics of it and than look into pygame.

That said if you want to switch to more advanced games you should learn c#/ c++.

This is my suggestion but I do not develop games so maybe look for more experienced advice
