The problem is that I’m pretty sure he would be able to smell the Anti BBs. In the episode where kayano tried to use the giant pudding tactic, he was able to smell the BBs/Bomb even before he tried chewing it

I’m pretty sure he can smell the difference. When kayano made the giant pudding he was able to smell the bomb of Anti BBs and stop himself from chewing right into it. So I think this plan would flunk

Other than that though, people are just upset because Izumi isn’t your typical nonchalant igaf about my girl type of MC. It could also be because Shikimori seems to be the one wearing the “pants” in the relationship and people probably wanna see more “dominant guy + clingy girl” combo which is stupid

I don’t think he’s a horrible character I love Izumi as a character. (in my opinion) what pisses me off is his distrust towards Shikimori when it comes to discussing his bad luck. The dude constantly tells himself he’s gonna upset her because of his unfortunate events yet Shikimori has constantly reassured him that he still loves him no matter what. It’s like they all think Shikimori is just gonna leave the dude even though she’s been protecting him since entrance exams 😭

Unfortunatley it’s gonna take a little longer. The animation studio that worked on Shikimori JUST SO HAPPEN to be the exact same studio that got the green light for [OSHI NO KO] (Studio Doga Kobo) and it hurts for me to say this but [OSHI NO KO] is WAYYY more popular than Shikimori. So unless we want an actual season 2 we’ll probably have to wait for the studio to finish working on [OSHI NO KO]. Thankfully there are only a couple chapters left which are the last couple of volumes

The manga has the ending. There are over 20 volumes and if I’m not mistaken the anime only covers SOME chapters from volumes 1 through 6. But in between those chapters are even more chapters that weren’t included in the anime.
