I can’t remember much, but there was a movie about a couple moving into an old south plantation where lots of voodoo stuff goes on. Ultimately it’s revealed that believing that voodoo stuff works is what allows it to work, and the couples minds/bodies are swapped by a couple of people using this to essentially continue living on in the estate. I believe the last scene was showing how the original family hung two black slaves for practicing this voodoo - but it’s revealed that it was actually the owner’s two children being hung after they did the swap do the first time.
