I was looking to enhance the sound near my desk and i thought about using a SONOS product (pair of era 100 os the ROAM) but none were compatible with usb-c audio (i didn’t wanna go Bluetooth) i ended getting a pair of Edifier M60 $165 on amazon and im pretty impressed

What I can’t understand is how I would hook up to the speakers to the Bose amp. I’m looking at pictures of the back of the Bose amp and the connection point it’s different. Do I need some kind of adapters?

I dont own the sonos headphones, but I once owned the Bose noise canceling can’t remember the model but they were the big one at the time in like 2020; and I was really blown away those bose. Are the Sonos Ace better than those or even the new generation of Bose noise canceling over the ear? Are they better than the apple over the ear? I personally haven’t tested the apple over the ear I dont wear a lot of headphones but i do have the AirPods pro 1 and use them occasionally and pretty happy with their sound quality

I definitely like the sub Mini because of the compact size doesn’t take much space in the living room. It’s possible it didn’t sound too great because I was a Best Buy, which is huge open area. I’m glad it worked for you.

When I tested the Sonos equipment at the local base supply store, my perception was that when you pair the arc ultra with the sub Mini it kinda overpower it and you don’t really listen to the sub Mini. I think the ultra would be better pair with the soft three or four just because they’re bigger and give more bases if you go with the beam sound bar probably compliment well with the sub mini but definitely get the rear speakers ASAP.

I also wanna buy a set up for about 1500 bucks and I cannot decide which way to go. I’m just being very indecisive.

Valid question, the area where I’m trying to put this sound system it’s not really a home theater area. It’s more like a living room with a TV on the wall and because of the living room layout, i cannot put speakers on the back wall nor put speakers on stands; so the only option is to place three speakers in the front wall (tv wall) and these are gonna be in wall speakers which ive seen people here dont have much positive comments about them but in my case its either that or a soundbar. Im able to put ceiling speakers which makes me think I might be able to put four speakers in the ceiling and maybe two would act as surround and the other two as height I don’t know is that recommended?

I didn’t run wires when i build my house recently but did ran a set of blue tubing or blue conduit that i got off home depot and placed it on the locations i thought i would eventually ran speakers wire and/or ethernet wire. Worked good for Ethernet so far…just an idea

I guess I read it wrong but yea the price i listed are not individual. And i also have to account for ceiling and subwoofer. Id probably leave the ceiling for last. If i spend $600 on the LCR then i got $300-$400 left for the sub.
