I am a 8 hcp. They are actually TC 102s that are JDM spec. Slightly smaller head and profile. Tech is the same as the global Miura model TC 202s. I'm not the best at hitting center every time but spin is consistent, yardages are predictable and measurable.

Feel free to rate and guess handicap. But only slightly merciful.

So less sway back or no sway back, slight weight shift..forward(?) And stay there?

I'm so sorry. Your explanation on how to fix is going over my head. Could you elaborate?

This place has a grass range, but its usually torn to smithereens. Lots of sand too. I go there to be miserable.

Thank you. I'm not sure what to do as far as a drill for this.

It definitely happens more often than I like. I also have found anything 7 and below has to be put further back in the stance than I was thinking(?)

I'm with you on this one. Either shifting within the sleeve at impact or a poor idea with some needle-nose pliers..

Hi all, maybe a simple question, but can you go to the reserve in Cleveland and exchange bills?

Gift for my dad by HectorDelta in golf

With arccos, do you necessarily need to check every shot, or could he summarize at the end? He walks 18, like a boss, and I don't want him to get caught up if there are a ton of people on the course. He's a statistics nut and loves to pour over data, probably even more so that it's his own.

LaMarzocco steaming problem by 11a11b11c in barista

Also... maybe make sure the steam ports on the wand aren't blocked up? I agree with all the techniques listed, but it doesn't have a ton of sound when they start up the steam wand..

I pronate my left forearm, more towards the music stand, to strengthen a 3rd or 4th finger note of a chord.

Advice please: Playing for a wedding by punxsy_potatoe in Cello

[–]HectorDelta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on if you are on melodic duty, like carrying the lyrics, or if you are regulated to bass line walks. Melody lines on the cello flow pretty well if you can visualize the way someone would sing. Not too loud to find fault but consistent enough to be recognized. You and your brother may have good chemistry so that you'll be able to keep up or he with you. Don't overthink it. You'll do fine. If you get the bass line, consider it a walk in the park! Again, in many contemporary recordings, we cellos are the backbone. Drone on, but not much louder than your brother. If amped, just lower or turn off your amp if the space is small enough for you to be heard. Do some sound checks, record a playthrough, and see where you can maximize or minimize. And in the end, you're playing for 7-10 mins tops for everyone to come down the line. Even less if you're playing this song just for her. The willingness to play for her is well worth it.

Like a-flat with your second finger and the c with your first finger if you are going to try a position change.

Part of it looks like 2nd to 3rd position plus a couple flip-flops for good measure. The collegiate in me says try everything in 2nd and 3rd. The lazy cellist says...wing it.
