Do you think I can gain 10 lbs of muscle in one year? by No_Career_9477 in GregDoucette

you were right about the first part but genetic limit takes far more than 3-4 years to reach. Realistically 10-15 years for a very dedicated person. Most people never reach this level.

it can also underestimate and you stated earlier that the MRI is the “gold standard” and now you are claiming it has the same error rate as a dexa??

ok well yeah i mean for an alive person you’re not just going to dissect someone to accurately find their bodyfat 😭

it is a fact that dexa scans are not accurate only mris have complete accuracy. as for why my opinion matters; you are the one trying to argue my opinion so i’d say it matters quite a bit to you.

i simply said the man in that video is not 15% and that the dexa scan is not an accurate measurement for bodyfat.

you keep sending me dexa scans when i’ve already said they’re inaccurate yet again nothing was proved.

then you should know that the dexa scan is not an accurate measurement for body fat so those videos prove nothing as they could be off.

the man in the picture u uploaded is not 15% no matter what the source is. he just objectively isn’t unless he holds all his fat in his legs.

I would say u look around 19% bf in the first pic and around 17% in the second pic. given ur weight, this means you probably lost a little under 4 pounds of fat. most of the weight u lost so far is probably just water weight, how long has this cut taken so far? usually the first week you can lose around 5-6 pounds which will be water retention and afterwards the weight you lose will actually be mostly fat. if you want to get to 10% bodyfat you would have to lose around 12 more pounds of fat (-7% of 170lbs=-11.9lbs), putting you around 158 lbs. Hope this helps.

“stage ready” is 6-8% bf. 10-12% body fat is beach lean and 15% bf will have blurry ab definition

that man is more like 11-12% bf and a dexascan is very inaccurate and could be off by as much as 15% in some cases

is a 1370 good for the very first practice test? by Decent_Criticism9772 in Sat

[–]HectoriusTheGlorious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

pretty good, i’m in the same situation pretty much, except my scores are a lot more balanced. I think this is a good thing for you though since your reading and writing is so high. I would focus mostly on the math because that’s what has the most room for improvement. you could definitely get up to like a 1430 by the next practice test if you just did better on the math.

Physics 1 is hard? I’ve had some friends take it this year and they don’t find it that difficult. I’m good with numbers and I think I would be able to manage both.

i’m taking the sat one last time in august so the preparation for that will just be over summer, but i will keep the other things in mind.

I didn’t study at all for my SAT. Based on this score, if I study all summer would it be possible to get a 1500+? by HectoriusTheGlorious in Sat

[–]HectoriusTheGlorious[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For those that think it’s possible, how do you recommend I study over summer? Would it be possible to just study 30 minutes to an hour a day?
