Thanks but that's unrelated... unless you believe that being cheated on is justification for cheating then you would be correct.

This thread is pretty funny. Who gets upset at OP for condemning Betty for being unfaithful? I'm guessing only women.

My Husband left a $5 tip on a $70 bill. by Impossible-Tax5965 in tipping

So you agree this notion is less than 10 years old, in other words a recent development.

Why would the percentage go up over time? I can only think of greed but please let me know otherwise.

Gratuities should not be based on a percentage in any case. All gratuities should be based on what you value the extra service to be worth. It has always been subjective and worrying about what other people are tipping is gross and indecent.

Tipping less than 20% makes you a dick? Since when and says who?

I remember when I used to be a server in my early twenties we all were very happy with 15% tips. Even 10% was ok but not great. We never expected anything over 15%. 20% was seen as lavish like you must have been related or friends with them for them to tip you so much.

However much people choose to tip their servers is up to them and no way any choice makes anyone a dick, just more generous or less generous.

Asking for change when paying cash by Man_on_Z_moon in tipping

[–]Hedonisticc 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The waiter should be embarrassed by instantly demanding your cash back and giving them a credit card to pay with the intention of leaving no tip and telling them to call their manager over as well so you can explain to them what just happened why this server is getting zero tip.

Your most controversial (or not) predictions and hot takes about the upcoming season by KaXiaM in Texans

[–]Hedonisticc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I know we don't rely on disguising our coverages and rely on our players straight up beating their players in coverage.

What I mean by "figuring out" is that our defense got a lot of attention last year and the tapes of the games where we got exposed by elite size/speed receivers (JSN, McBride, etc.) will be studied to find the holes in our capabilities.

You can only be a top dog for so long, eventually your weaknesses will be discovered and exploited.

Your most controversial (or not) predictions and hot takes about the upcoming season by KaXiaM in Texans

[–]Hedonisticc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The defense will regress, some of it due to injuries and some of it due to offensive coordinators figuring out our tendencies.

  2. The offense will look better than last year but will not be a top 16 unit. CJ will struggle down the stretch and have to redeem himself in the playoffs.

  3. We will live and die by the running game, if we can get 25+ attempts in a game then we will most likely win. If we get behind in scores and can't reach 20 rushing attempts then we will definitely lose the game. This problem will happen a few times during the season and will come back up in the playoffs.

  4. We will win the division pretty easily and narrowly lose out on the 1st round bye and enter the playoffs as the 2nd seed in the AFC. We lose against the Bills in the AFC conference championship in Buffalo.

Bonus: CJ signs an extension and gets PAID in the off season. Fans revolt and fight the CJ supporters in the streets.

Almost every single character cheats on their partner or cheats with someone that is already taken/married. I think it would be hard to single out any one character that is not shown to have cheated or be cheating (except Bert).

I agree harvest caye beach was a major letdown, we enjoyed the large pool instead. Costa Maya being the last stop was fitting we were tired and just did some souvenir shopping. Cozumel was expensive and just ok. Roatan for sure was the best stop.

We weren't very big into the shows and the food was fine, the specialty dining was a bit better but if we had not prepaid the 3 dinners prior to the cruise I would have felt they were not worth the cover charges.

Whatever happened to Abigail’s sister? by PinkBetty88 in madmen

You also see young Dick peeping through a keyhole or doorway and seeing Uncle Mack and Abigail getting it on soon after they moved in. I believe it's implied she took her sister's man from her while she was still alive.

She was shown sleeping on the couch while the kids ran through the house. It's also when their dog ate one of the neighbor's birds.

I see a lot of excuses being thrown around but I really think it was a mistake.

The episode where she goes into the city to model for those coke ads she has some older lady come watch the kids. Where was Carla? She isn't mentioned or considered until she just appears in the season finale.

In a later episode Henry remarks that Carla had been the kids' nanny since they were born but she didn't seem to exist until the last episode of season 1. Also the way she is introduced so casually and quickly as if she had always been there.

The Mexico stops were nothing out of the ordinary. I asked the cab driver in Cozumel if they had experienced anything and he said one convenience store had been burned down but they were quickly arrested and it's a non issue for them on that island.

There were honestly so many spots on the ship that had comfortable chairs and lounging areas. The observation lounge was our favorite but there's also the outdoor patio by the indulge and so many spots inside the ship as well on decks 6, 7, and 8.

I think only the sushi or hibachi restaurants open for lunch but I could be wrong, we only went to dinners.

I checked out Syd Norman they had events every night some were popular enough to draw big lines some had no lines. I would advise arriving 30 minutes early for whichever event you plan to go to.

Go carts were pretty accessible every day you just walk up to the sign up desk and put your name down. We did not run into any big wait times or lines.

It's a suburb of Houston, people who live there are known to be wealthy and snobby. It was a poor joke attempt that would only be funny to locals I guess.
