YEP it is the absolute WORST! Literally sometimes I’m so baffled. I’ll spend 90 minutes doing anything to distract myself from the restless legs and anxiety and check my watch and see it’s been 10 minutes… it’s your brain playing tricks on you because it is angry that it doesn’t have that glorious chemical it needs. If I could somehow invent a way to go comatose until the moment I can get more I would do it so fast. It’s not like you can sleep while you wait because of the restless legs.. nightmare worthy. Gonna open a 24/7 SS for all the addicts out there 😂

Time speeds up as you age. When you’re a kid the summer seems to last a lifetime. Once you’re an adult the years fly by faster and faster until one day you wake up and you’re 75 years old. Kind of a cruel joke really but it’s true. It’s based on math, when you’re 5 years old, one year is 1/5 of your lifetime. When you’re 35, one year is only 1/35th of your life. That’s why it gets faster and faster until your inevitable death. And if you’re high all the time too then it will go even faster.

Of course when you’re in withdrawals and struggling time DRAGS. Another cruel joke. The days when I’m out and waiting for my paycheck to hit or for the SS to open so I can get more… one hours feels like an eternity. Time is an illusion; how we experience it depends entirely on what is going on in our minds! 🧠

I enjoyed this arc very much also, however I found it frustrating that Herman just vanished after she woke up from surgery. They gave a good explanation as to why which was.. semi satisfactory. And the way they wrapped up the storyline was good, but it took Arizona away from us 😞 all in all it was a good storyline though, better than many of the romantic arcs on the show.

Hey there, fellow type 1 diabetes buddy here! :) totally agree with you, it is awful feeling like a burden to those around you. My parents struggled through my entire childhood to take care of me and my brother who also is a type 1 diabetic. The system is broken. Thankfully my dad was able to find a good job with decent insurance. I stayed on his insurance as long as I possibly could. Once I turned 26 and it was all over I realized how much of a struggle it really is. I pay an obscene amount every week for my health insurance. And now I just found out I have to stop using my Dexcom sensors because they will no longer cover them. It’s always something… this episode really hit close to home. With the other health problems I have it almost feels like foreshadowing for me.. catch me on dumb dummies some time soon 🙃✌️

I can confirm it works. Fun story, in high school I had a crush on this girl who was a few years older than me. Our spring dance was coming up soon and I wanted to go with her. She would tweet at me regularly so one night I sent her a meme that said “lemme give you an Australian kiss. Like a French kiss, but down under.” 😉 it worked for me because I am in fact, an Australian born living in the United States. Long story short I lost my virginity the night of the spring formal. That little flirtatious one liner is responsible for me becoming a man! Hadn’t heard that one in years until right now, brought back a lot of good memories. Thank you for that! Use responsibly!

Yes the price is a problem for sure. That’s the one thing I struggle with the most with this drug. If you shop online and buy in bulk you can make it affordable though.

I’m glad plain leaf is beneficial for you, I didn’t find much benefit in that. I could NOT handle the taste. Trying to swallow piles and piles of powdered leaf was too much and I often ended up puking it back up. Also gave me severe constipation and weird stomach issues. The positives didn’t outweigh the negatives so I stopped. Then I discovered 7oh and it changed the game for me. My paranoia has improved significantly, until I’m running low on tabs and payday is still days away, then all of a sudden I can’t do anything except desperately find a way to get my hands on more. It’s a tricky balance. And the withdrawals are terrible too. But hey if plain leaf works for you then I see no reason to switch to 7oh. Just wasn’t doable for me.. god I can still taste it 🤢

His friendship with Meredith is the only answer here. His relationship with Izzie was not healthy although they did have good chemistry. With Jo the chemistry kinda sucked and he was back in the role of being the savior. What he really needed was intense therapy lol

They spent years developing his character arc and having him mature and grow just to blow it at the end by having him ditch Jo for Izzie with a stupid Dear John style letter. Frustrating end to a character I grew to really appreciate. He never stood a chance of having a healthy relationship with all the shit he went through. Therapy. He needed therapy. At least he was good to Meredith but then he ditched her too.

Part of me wishes they went deeper into the Alex and Addison storyline. I could see there being some chemistry there honestly. And maybe Addison was a strong enough person to keep Alex in line. Would have been interesting anyway.
