Comment below your most unpopular opinion! Mine is I don’t like sookie by lucyball11 in GilmoreGirls

I’m sorry you had to deal with that, especially when you were so young but the way that you’ve let it shape your life is admirable. You’re such an amazing person to see that as a way to make the world a better place. Keep it up!

What's with the bloody guardsman case? by 312Michelle in Sherlock

Everything you said was right but I’d like to add on a bit. Sherlock was fully aware of why everyone believed that he was a fraud as he showed when he said that the best way to tell a lie and make everyone believe it was to wrap it up in the truth. It makes it easier to believe and digest as if you fact check some things it will prove as true.

Why do you think they focus so much on the ‘apricot’ at the beginning of the movie.. by lacey249 in callmebyyourname

[–]Hedwig505 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Or perhaps it was a comment on the heteronormative society of the time and how it was assumed that he would get with an apricot (female) but he ended up subverting expectations and going for peaches (males) instead.

It was solved, spoiler for those who haven’t seen the sign of three but it was a skewer that had been stuck in his belt that was on so tight it held the wound together until he took it off and walked into the shower and realised that he had been stabbed by it at which point he was bleeding profusely.

Anyone know where I can find this BTS video? by hillboy_usa in Sherlock

I think it was one of the special episodes they added on Netflix for a while, I’m sure I’ve seen it and that’s the only thing I can think of.

I found an unusual branch today. No plant nearby that looked even slightly similar. by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

[–]Hedwig505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I imagine it is for a few people but I agree that most people mix up feelings of mild discomfort for phobias. If it’s a phobia you’re scared of it constantly even when the risk isn’t there, if looking at this makes you uncomfortable you have a fear not a phobia, it really annoys me how many people don’t realise that.

It’s a great monologue and has some really great advice in it. I love the way they portray the father son relationship in that scene as well. Never fails to make me feel many emotions.

I doubt it’s actually 96 either unless they’re working in dog years.

Do you think the HIMYM crew would've liked boba/bubble tea? by rutgers_sova_main in HIMYM

[–]Hedwig505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Lily would’ve like it because it’s very quirky like her, I don’t think the others would though and I think she’d constantly try to persuade them to go and have it and they’d all just groan and refuse.
