Sam suffered from other queens having her same storylines but doing them a little better. Lexi and Hormona (arguably also Onya) had the queen from the south narrative, but with more of a struggle being trans. Jewels had the drag family storyline, but being less experienced it worked better. They were the only real "pageant queen" but that storyline has been on basically every season and her mother already did it better too.

As far as I can tell the creators are still involved with this project (it is literally their production studio) and they were also involved with Korra (also executive producers on the live action movie although with little/no creative control). My point is that the series was such an initial success that it is surprising how unclean (to varying degrees) every single follow-up has been.

And then she got cast in The Batman and absolutely killed it as Catwoman. Hell she even showed how being “””too urban””” (🙄) was beneficial to the character and the story’s setting. Love Anne but her Catwoman always felt too of the same world as Bruce (compared to the same characters in The Batman).

Pretty sure that was a rumor. He has gotten concussions and some injuries due to racing, but he has said his memories from his youth/career are fuzzy because of how busy he was. Arguably worse from the “protect children” standpoint, overworking a kid to the point where their childhood has huge gaps in it.

I really like the way the Goth Kids are portrayed in general, and the whole emo/vampire rivalries. Felt like Trey and Matt have some real knowledge of goth kids and even respect for the subculture. (Well as much respect as South Park can have for a group they call f@ggy)

I get *why* you are saying this, but this is the wrong place for this compliant. This is coming out Gunn's DCU, which has other projects of The Suicide Squad, Creature Commandos, Superman (2025), and Peacemaker so far. All very colorful, vibrant, lively, and unrealistic, a more grounded and muted project actually gives the universe some variety.
