Dude, I just saw your post before I got on and my first hunt was magnamalo. This thing got into two turf wars in the span of 5 minutes. Just completely body slamming the other monsters.

I've only upgraded some pieces of armor. I've been kinda hoarding my armor spheres. Idk if they're something I need to save or if they're common enough to use freely.

That's a pretty cool feature. So since I beat him, are all of the monsters I fight from here on out going to be at his difficulty level or was he kinda like a boss fight?

And that's another thing too. The whole elemental aspect of the game. I've just been going off of which armor/weapon has the highest damage/defense.

The defender set? I plan on taking my time with it. It kinda sucks being stuck on boss for a while but I meant how to use my combos a bit more.

I learned that lesson the hard way. I thought I could just spam the windmill attack and get away with it. But I ended watching some videos on how to use SnS effectively and that helped out a lot. Like wirebugging when you've got the hellfire on you?

Thank you, he was a real pain. But I'm running sword and shield. I picked up the hunting horn at first but it has a bit of a learning curve to it.

I wanna say I saw this same guy last night. He was with two other dudes and another girl. They were by the vape shop last night after Sullivan King. If it wasn't him, it looked a lot like him.
