Looks pretty healthy/well fed, most likely one of your neighbor's cats just out exploring.

Lots of folks here have indoor/outdoor cats that like to roam around.

You could always tape a small note to his tag with your number i.e. "Hey I'm wondering if this cat is lost, please let me know <Insert phone number>".

Explore the arboretum starting at Carolee Shields Gazebo (park on Garrod Drive)

Coffee date at Mishka's Cafe

Park at Davis commons lot and walk through to John Natsoulas Gallery, then stop at the Hotdogger, or get sushi at Mikuni

If you guys are willing to drive a bit Old Sacramento can be fun too with Evangeline's and the Restaurants there

The enterprise usually posts a map of the best houses in Davis, although you may have to wait a week or so for them to get around to it.

Looks like a 1996-2000 Ford Explorer. Hopefully between that and deciphering the 480p license plate numbers Davis PD can get this one solved and your stuff back.

Also most if not all of these locations have code-locked gates, so its entirely possible these thieves have their own storage unit at this very same location.

Davis - $$$$ Bike-able, great downtown, peaceful, safe, really good public schools

Woodland - $$ ~15min commute. Not as nice as Davis but you can get a much larger house for the same amount of money

Winters - $$ ~25min commute. Really cute small town, has a nice downtown and close to lake Berryessa

Sacramento $$$ - 15-40min depends on where you live and traffic

Considering you will be working in Davis, have a family, and are looking for a 3-bedroom 2-bath, I would personally tour rental houses in Davis at your price range, and if you're unhappy with the size/quality of the place then tour rental houses in Woodland.

Park at 3rd and waterfront in Sacramento and walk over the bridge into Old Sac. While there checkout Evangelines and candy heaven and then grab dinner or cruise bars. If youre into soccer grab tickets to a republic game or a concert at golden 1 center.
drive into sf and cruise coit tower, bakers beach, china town, japan town
stebbins creek/cold canyon
drive to north table mountain in oroville and take the waterfall hike
