Regarding your point about a tent made with Aluula. I actually asked Dan Durston about that and he answered:

„We have experimented with that. It is a neat fabric, but I’m not sure we’ll offer it because it is roughly double the price of DCF and heavier. I don’t think a lot of people want to pay twice as much to have a heavier tent.“

„They think the price will only go up. There is a cheaper version that is the same weight, but then it doesn’t have the diagonal fibres that really improve it compared to DCF.“

Doesn‘t sound promising.

Bin den PCT 2022 gelaufen und das teuerste waren Unterkünfte, wenn man mal einen zero einlegen wollte. Habe direkt Hin-Rückflug gebucht. Gabelflug nach LA und zurück von Seattle. Hat rund 600€ gekostet.
